Why It’s So Difficult to Change the Direction of Your Life

change the direction of your life

Let’s assume you’re fed up with where your life is going.

You’re dissatisfied and unfulfilled by your current pursuits.

You want more… to have more, to do more, and to BE more…

But you’re not going after it.

Why?

Why is it so difficult to change the direction of your life?

For years, I’ve been watching people all around me sabotage their own wellbeing in some sort of way. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, financially… you name it.

It’s heartbreaking.

They get caught up in drama.

They get caught up in monotony.

They get caught up in a lack of vision or faith.

But they never actually do anything about it, either.

Instead, they complain and blame everyone but themselves for how they live their life.

Now, the first thing you need to understand if you ever want your life to change is this:

You are in full control and no one is to blame but you.

Let me say that again.

You are in full control and no one is to blame but you.

Stings, doesn’t it?

It’s supposed to.

You need to understand that no one is ever coming to save you. No one is coming to hand you the life you’ve always wanted to live.

It’s YOUR job to do that.

Not your husband’s.

Not your wife’s.

Not friends’ or mother’s or father’s.

It’s your job — and it’s a job you must take very, very seriously.

The reason it’s so difficult to change the direction of your life is simple:

It’s because of YOU.

And the moment you take ownership of that fact…

… you’ll find the freedom you’ve been looking for.
