So you want to build an online business, huh?
Escape from the Big Man?
Go out on your own?
Well, you’ll have to follow 4 simple steps first.
Let’s get into them.
1) Decide who you want to serve.
Yup, before you do anything, you have to decide who you want your customers to be first. Moms? Dads? Farmers? Career-oriented women who run their own companies?
Who exactly do you want to serve?
Knowing this beforehand will be a great anchor for you moving forward.
2) Find out where they are.
Ever wonder what it’s like to be a stalker? Now’s your chance!
Before you can ever serve the people you want to serve, you have to find out where they’re hanging out first. Online communities? Forums? Private Facebook groups? Where is your ideal customer congregating?
If you can’t find them, you’ll never be able to serve them.
So spend a fair amount of time tracking them down.
3) Get their attention.
Now that you know where your ideal customer is congregating, it’s time to throw out some bait.
What do you think will get their attention? What can you offer them that will make them want to enter your world? Do they have a pain you know you can solve? How can you present that to them in the most compelling way possible?
You might have to try a few angles to find out what gets attention. But the more you try, the more likely it is you’ll find something that works.
So if at first you don’t succeed, just try some different bait!
4) Help them get defined results.
Here’s the deal:
Once someone takes your bait and enters your world, you want them to stick with you as long as possible. To do that, you’ll need to serve them at a higher level than you already have.
Are there more results you can help them achieve? Can you help them make more money? Can you help them drop some weight? If so, lay that out clearly for them and then help them achieve that next result.
The more you can do this, the more they’ll stick around. And the more they stick around, the happier they’ll become. And the happier they become, the more money you’ll ultimately make.
All of that in 4 suspiciously simple steps.
And when you’re ready
