What if I told you that you’re robbing yourself blind?
That every day, little by little — and without even realizing it — you give your own prosperity away?
That every day, you steal from yourself all that’s meant to help you grow and willingly pass it off to strangers?
Would you believe me?
And would you believe you could even do that to yourself?
The truth is…
You can do that to yourself.
And if you’re like most people, you’ve actually been doing it to yourself almost every day you’ve been alive.
I know that’s hard to imagine.
But that doesn’t make it any less true.
Riddle me this:
When you wake up in the morning, what’s the first thing you do to start your day? And when you get paid from work, what’s the first thing you do with the money you receive?
If your answer is anything other than ‘pay myself first,’ then you’re stealing from your future… without even knowing it.
The good news is that you can put an end to all this madness… starting today.
Here’s how:
Every morning, before you do anything else, your goal is to pay yourself first. That means, for at least 20 minutes, you focus ALL your effort and attention on your most important task at hand. You wake up and immediately start working on something that moves your own life forward.
Similarly, every time you get paid, your goal is to put at least 10% of your earnings away. This is YOUR money. No one else’s. You should think of this as a bill that’s due any time you receive any money. This is future-tax you’re claiming for yourself!
If you don’t have enough money for all your expenses after you’ve paid at least 10% to yourself, then you need to earn more. Simple as that. Because AT NO TIME should you EVER give your 10% away to anything or anyone other than yourself.
Got it?
— The first chunk of every morning.
— 10% of everything you earn.
Reclaim both and watch as your life becomes immediately more prosperous because of it.
You’ve spent enough time stealing from yourself.
Whaddya say you spend some time doing the opposite?
