Okay, it’s 9:49 pm and I still have an article to write.
Thing is, I don’t want to slave over it for long. I want to get it done and published within the next 20 minutes.
Not ideal, by any means.
But that’s just how the cookie crumbles.
Is it possible?
And is it possible to do while still providing value?
Well, we’re about to find out.
Here’s the problem…
For the past week or so, I haven’t been writing my articles in the morning. And the reason I haven’t been writing my articles in the morning is because I’ve been sleeping in for too long. And because I’ve been sleeping in for too long, I end up getting thrust into work shortly after waking up.
You can see the problem here.
When this happens…
My routine gets missed.
My ‘bases’ don’t get covered.
And then, by the end of the day, I’m scrambling to write something and publish it before I go to sleep.
This is not the way I should be doing things.
And it’s not how YOU should be doing things, either.
When something is important to you…
And you know you should be doing it every day…
Do it as early in the day as possible.
Otherwise, you’ll be up waaaay passed your bedtime wishing you did… like I have to be right now.
Don’t do that to yourself.
Instead, get up, get at it, and get your shit done.
At the end of the day, you’ll be glad you did.
It’s now 10:10 pm — not bad at all.
Time to get some rest.
Over and out ✌️
And when you’re ready
